Job Description
Make a lasting impact supporting students across a dynamic, diverse district in the greater Phoenix area in this full-time, onsite contract opportunity for a School Psychologist. This position is ideal for professionals dedicated to nurturing student development, promoting positive school climates, and providing vital psychological services within a regional context.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychology required
- Must possess current school psychologist credentials as mandated by Arizona state regulations
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card required
- Experience working in educational, school-based, or youth-serving environments preferred
- Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for referred students
- Develop, interpret, and deliver findings to educators, administrators, and families
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Consult with faculty and parents to support students' academic and social-emotional needs
- Provide direct intervention, counseling, and problem-solving services to students as appropriate
- Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with district and state regulations
- Contribute to crisis response, prevention, and intervention initiatives across the district
