Job Description
Seeking a dedicated professional with expertise in school psychology to provide vital services along Minnesota’s scenic north shore. This contract role offers an excellent opportunity for those committed to supporting students’ growth and well-being during the FY27 school year. Flexibility is built in—services may be delivered in person or virtually, based on what works best for the district and your location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for K-12 students as required throughout the academic year
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to interpret assessment data and develop impactful student-centered strategies
- Provide recommendations for individual education plans (IEPs) and interventions to support student success
- Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential student records consistent with district and state guidelines
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide expert input regarding student needs
- Manage a caseload that can range between 100 and 500 hours per district annually, offering a variety of environments and student populations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in School Psychology
- Prior experience conducting psychoeducational assessments in school settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Familiarity with both in-person and telepractice platforms for assessments is highly desirable
