We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to support a fast-paced accounting team in Chatsworth, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and working with accounting software in a deadline-driven environment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to support a fast-paced accounting team in Chatsworth, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and working with accounting software in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices, payment requests, and accounts payable transactions
- Review and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
- Enter and verify financial data within company accounting systems
- Maintain accurate records, files, and supporting documentation
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and inquiries
- Assist with annual physical inventory counts and periodic audits
- Generate and review reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Support general accounting and administrative functions as needed
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or accounts payable environment
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, or similar platforms
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, and data analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
- Excellent mathematical and data entry skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information
