Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students in grades PreK through 5th. This full-time position is perfect for those passionate about fostering communication development in young learners and eager to work in a dynamic school environment. Two openings are available, each offering a manageable and engaging caseload at local elementary schools. The position welcomes applicants fully licensed with their SLP-CCC or those progressing through their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Possession of SLP-CCC or status as SLP-CF
- Background in pediatric speech-language therapy, ideally within a school-based or teletherapy setting
- Competence in developing and executing IEPs for a diverse student population
- Ability to manage caseloads of approximately 40–50 students
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Experience with PreK–5th grade preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students in inclusive and pull-out settings
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Attend and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Educate and support teachers and caregivers on best communication practices
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed for student services
