Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Coal Center, PA

This full-time, contract position for the upcoming academic year offers a dynamic schedule and the chance to make a significant impact on students’ educational journeys.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certificate (required)
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Willingness and ability to commute between multiple school locations; proximity to all sites essential
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students at multiple elementary campuses as assigned:• Bethlehem-Center Elementary (½ day weekly)• Fort Cherry Elementary (2 days weekly)• Waynesburg, PA (2 days weekly)
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborate with educational teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required by school and state standards
• Participate in required start-of-year training sessions (August 13th, 14th, and 17th) and adhere to the school year schedule (student return August 20th)
• Engage positively with students, families, and fellow professionals, promoting each child’s ability to succeed in their academic environment
