Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) - Cedartown, GA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, developing and updating care plans, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You’ll also be tasked with monitoring for changes in patient status, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1-2 years recent experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms, managing vasoactive drips, and caring for patients on continuous cardiac monitoring
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Experience working with multidisciplinary healthcare teams is highly valued
