This onsite assignment runs from August 2026 through May 2027, providing full-time hours and the chance to truly make a difference in the lives of young learners.

As an essential part of the student support team, you’ll work closely with educators, families, and fellow professionals to deliver outstanding speech-language therapy services. This role is designed for a skilled SLP who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about helping children reach their communication goals.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Valid Illinois State SLP License
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children within a school setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Dedication to equity and inclusivity in student care

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with school and state standards
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to educational planning
  • Providing direct therapy and consultation services onsite
