Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) with an Orientation & Mobility Specialist (OMS) certification. This full-time, contract opportunity provides essential services throughout a local school district, based from the district’s main office and traveling between multiple campuses (13 total, with 2-3 campuses served per day). Key Qualifications:
- Valid Florida TVI license and active OMS certification
- Testing background necessary for student screenings
- Experience with consultative services and the flexibility to provide both direct and indirect services
- School-based experience is highly preferred but not required
- Comfortable working with K-12 caseloads (approximately 15–20 students)
- Ability to travel between schools; a reliable means of transportation is essential
Responsibilities:
