Job Summary
We are seeking an Import Support Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Greer, SC. This onsite role is ideal for a detail-oriented logistics or administrative professional who wants to build a long-term career in import operations, customs documentation, and trade compliance.
The Import Support Specialist will assist the import team with accurate documentation review, data entry, client communication, shipment support, and compliance-related tasks. This position offers hands-on exposure to customs brokerage processes, import regulations, and international transportation workflows.

Key Responsibilities
- Review import documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates of origin, for accuracy and compliance.
- Enter import shipment data into customs clearance software and maintain organized electronic records.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, internal teams, and government agencies to support timely import processing.
- Research and help resolve documentation, customs clearance, and transportation-related issues.
- Support compliance by staying informed on customs regulations, tariffs, trade agreements, and import requirements.
- Assist with SOP development, process improvements, team training, and knowledge sharing.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $20.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Location: Greer, SC.
- Work arrangement: Onsite.
