REQUIREMENTS:

·Must enjoy working with adult to geriatric patients

·A NP degree from an accredited school or University

·Master’s degree in nursing**

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*

* Assess and treat patients with common acute conditions, illnesses,
\n or minor trauma in collaboration with a physician
\n * Collaborate with the physician in the health care of patients with
\n chronic illnesses.
\n * Educate patients and/or families about preventive care, positive
\n behaviors, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments
\n and/or medications.
\n * Maintain legible, accurate, and confidential medical records.
\n * Document all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatment,
\n outcomes, education, referrals, and consultations
\n * Order diagnostic tests as appropriate.
\n * Prescribe medications within scope of license.
\n * Facilitate evaluation of records by physician(s) according to
\n protocols and receive and implement constructive directives.
\n * Promote preventive and health maintenance care, including annual
\n physicals, positive health behaviors, self-care skills, and use of
\n prescribed medical treatments and medications through education and
\n counseling.
