Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract role supporting young learners with your specialized Speech-Language Pathology skills! This full-time opportunity focuses on providing services in a single building, offering consistency and helping you build meaningful connections with students. Starting September 1st, you’ll work with a manageable caseload of 19 students—primarily in grades K-4, with a couple of middle schoolers—and may also contribute to speech improvement initiatives.
Ideal candidates are comfortable collaborating with educators and families to maximize student growth, whether through in-person or teletherapy sessions. This setting fosters professional development and allows you to make transformative impacts within a close-knit school community.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and experienced SLPs are welcome
- Background in school-based and/or pediatric SLP services
- Experience or interest in teletherapy delivery
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation standards
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to K-4 and select middle school students within one building
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records and track progress towards student goals
- Potential to expand your caseload with speech improvement services
