With two openings available, you’ll become an essential resource for students, educators, and families in a dynamic educational community near Indianapolis, IN.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in K-12 school environments preferred, but open to all enthusiastic, qualified professionals
- Ability to conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document student progress
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Passion for fostering communication and language development in children of varied backgrounds
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students across multiple grade levels
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Educate and support school staff and family members regarding students’ needs and strategies
- Engage in parent-teacher meetings, IEP reviews, and school-based initiatives as required
