Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience or strong interest in working with early elementary (K-1st) students
  • Ability to assess students’ intellectual, social, and emotional needs
  • Proficiency in conducting behavioral and academic evaluations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with school staff and families
  • Flexibility to provide services 5-10 hours per week onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and observations to identify students’ needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective interventions and individualized plans
  • Provide short-term counseling and direct support to students as needed
  • Assist in creating a safe and positive classroom environment
  • Monitor student progress and document findings and recommendations
