Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification for New York State
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience with assessments, IEP writing, and participation in CSE meetings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret data to support student learning
  • Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students as needed
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding effective strategies and supports
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of services
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school climate
