Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience in a school, home health, or healthcare setting strongly preferred
- Understanding of sensory processing, fine and gross motor development, and intervention strategies
- Ability to create individualized plans and set measurable goals for student growth
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create plans tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver engaging, goal-oriented OT sessions addressing motor skills and functional independence
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Work closely with teachers and families to support carryover of strategies in the classroom and home
- Maintain accurate records and meet documentation requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input to foster student success
