School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Colchester, Vermont

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication and language skills in a dynamic, small school setting serving pre-kindergarten through 4th grade. We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Clinical Fellow (CFY), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a part-time, contract position conveniently located near Colchester, VT. This flexible role (.8 FTE or less) is perfect for professionals who wish to make a genuine difference without the demands of a full-time schedule.

You’ll manage a caseload of 15 students, some of whom require services five days a week, all within a single site. With a supportive administration and resources for supervision, new graduates and SLPAs are encouraged to apply and grow in a collaborative educational environment.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or current enrollment in CFY; SLPA licensure also welcomed
• Active or eligible state licensure/certification for SLP or SLPA
• Experience or enthusiasm for working within educational settings, especially with younger students (pre-K–4th)
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to following IEP goals and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Willingness to participate in supervision if applying as a CFY or SLPA

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group speech-language therapy services onsite
• Develop, implement, and monitor progress toward IEP goals
• Support and engage with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure optimal student outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Participate in in-service training (beginning August 21), with students starting August 26
