Qualifications & Desired Background
- Master’s degree in Psychology is required
- Active state credentials for school psychology in Arizona
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Prior experience in a school-based psychologist role preferred
- Strong knowledge of psycho-educational assessment, special education processes, and best practices for student interventions
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational, behavioral, and functional assessments for students across the district
- Provide direct interventions, including counseling and crisis response
- Consult with educators and parents to develop solutions to learning or behavioral concerns
- Support eligibility determination for special education services and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to create safe, positive learning environments
- Document and report findings accurately and in a timely manner
