Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current, valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Prior experience working in schools or with school-aged children preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Proficiency in evaluating, developing, and implementing therapy interventions in a school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver Occupational Therapy services to students according to IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and create treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to foster student achievement
- Maintain accurate progress notes and required reporting in compliance with district and state guidelines
