This contract opportunity is designed for a dedicated School Psychologist eager to contribute to the academic and emotional success of high schoolers. The position offers flexibility, with the option for full-time hours or part-time (three days per week), to help you balance your professional and personal commitments.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience with high school students preferred
- Skilled in conducting psychoeducational assessments
- Familiarity with counseling, intervention planning, and consultation
- Excellent ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, managing a testing caseload similar to last year’s—approximately 70 students annually
- Interpret assessment data to support the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct support and counseling to students as needed
- Consult with educators and families to inform educational interventions and strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with faculty to foster a supportive school environment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
