Help support students’ communication goals in an engaging middle school setting this fall! We’re seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentialing to provide essential services for 8th and 9th grade students. Working in-person on a 6-day cycle from August through December, you’ll play a vital part in students’ educational journey—delivering both individual and group sessions across two grade centers.

Your days will start between 7:30 and 8:00am and conclude between 2:30 and 3:00pm, offering a consistent, full-time schedule that accommodates the school’s needs. Your expertise will empower students to enhance their communication skills in both academic and social environments, while your organization ensures effective case management for approximately 8-10 Speech Only IEP students.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Valid, current SLP licensure and active CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Recent school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with middle or high school populations beneficial
  • Ability to deliver both individual and group speech-language services
  • Strong case management and documentation skills, especially for IEP compliance
  • Skilled communicator, collaborative team player, and creative problem-solver
  • Confidence working in-person with diverse student populations

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy for 8th and 9th grade students, addressing a range of individual needs
  • Conduct individual and group sessions, tailoring interventions to specific student goals
  • Manage case load of approximately 8-10 Speech Only IEP students, including paperwork and parent collaboration
  • Work closely with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate successful student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings as needed and contribute to ongoing assessment and re-evaluation
