Available openings:
- 2 days per week (16 hours) at the high school level
- 3 days per week (24 hours) at the high school level
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows may be considered
- Prior experience with adolescent populations or in school settings is highly beneficial
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven approaches
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to high school students according to IEP requirements
- Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders using evidence-based methods
- Develop personalized treatment plans targeting speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication goals
- Coordinate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records, attend IEP meetings, and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions
