Medicare Sales Representative (D-SNP / Dual-Eligible)

Position Type: Full-Time Temporary (Long-Term Assignment through December 31, 2026)

Location: Remote (Must reside in California / PST Time Zone)

Pay Range: $37.00 - $50.00 / hour (Dependent on candidate location and experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST (Flexibility required for shifts up to 8:00 PM or weekends as needed, up to 40 hours/week)



Role Overview:

We are seeking a driven, community-focused Medicare Sales Representative to join a growing team dedicated to expanding healthcare access for underserved populations. In this role, you will lead direct sales, community outreach, and marketing efforts for Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNP). You will work directly with Medicare and Medi-Cal (dual-eligible) beneficiaries to simplify complex coverage options and guide them toward the right healthcare coverage.

This is a long-term temporary assignment scheduled through December 31, 2026, with employment fulfilled through an external partner staffing agency.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Program Membership: Conduct direct sales, community outreach, and targeted marketing to dual-eligible (Medicare/Medi-Cal) recipients within your assigned service area to increase enrollment in D-SNP products.

  • Build Sales Networks: Develop and nurture local relationships, community partnerships, and referral networks to generate leads and outreach opportunities.

  • Member Guidance: Assess individual healthcare needs and clearly present complex insurance products in simple, accessible language for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Lead Management: Utilize CRM tools to log interactions, track leads, nurture prospects, and maintain regular follow-ups with potential members.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to CMS regulations, state insurance laws, and established sales practices within a highly regulated industry.

  • Department Collaboration: Support broader sales department goals, outreach events, and campaign initiatives.



Qualifications & Skills:

Requirements:

  • Language: Professional fluency in both English and Spanish (Bilingual required).

  • Location: Must live and reside in the PST Time Zone (California).

  • Licensing & Certification:

    • Active California Accident and Health / Sickness Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire).

    • Current AHIP certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire).

  • Sales Background: 2+ years of experience in Medicare sales, with strong working knowledge of D-SNP or Medi-Medi (Medicare/Medi-Cal) programs and CMS guidelines.

  • Education & General Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field + 5+ years of total sales experience (insurance, pharmaceutical, or medical equipment).

    • Substitution: An additional 4 years of direct sales experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree.

  • Technical Skills: Experience navigating CRM systems to track leads and organize follow-up workflows.
