Software Engineer

About the Company
\n Our client is a banking and cash management platform for businesses that sell physical goods, aiming to automate financial backend tasks for consumer brands. The team is small but mighty, coming from companies like Shopify, Square, Rippling, and Toast.

Role Objective
\n This role involves shaping the future of platform, working closely with engineers, designers, and founders to design, build, and iterate on core products. The successful candidate will own projects end-to-end, from scoping to building, testing, shipping, and refining based on real-world feedback. This role is open to candidates who love crafting clean, fast, and intuitive user experiences, are comfortable with ambiguity, write maintainable, high-quality code, and are willing to contribute to the engineering culture.

Responsibilities

• Product Development: design, build, and iterate on core products in close collaboration with engineers, designers, and founders.
\n
• End-to-End Ownership: own projects from scoping through building, testing, shipping, and refining based on real-world feedback.
\n
• Full-Stack Contribution: work across the stack (backend and/or frontend) depending on project needs.
\n
• User Experience Focus: craft clean, fast, and intuitive user experiences.
\n
• Code Quality: write maintainable, high-quality code.
\n
• Engineering Culture: contribute to and help shape the team's engineering culture and practices.
\n

Requirements

\n
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering.
\n
• Tech Stack: familiarity with Kotlin, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud.
\n
• Mindset: comfort with ambiguity, strong ownership mentality, and attention to UX quality.
\n
• Skills: strong backend and frontend skills, with willingness to work across the stack when needed.
\n
