Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. This full-time assignment offers 40 hours per week and runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, aligning with the academic calendar as students return on August 10. You’ll work on-site in a collaborative environment, splitting the caseload across two elementary schools with a team of dedicated SLPs and SLPAs.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt therapy plans to diverse needs
- Familiarity with school documentation and IEP processes is a plus
- Must be available for in-person services; remote/virtual candidates will not be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaboratively split caseloads with other SLPs and SLPAs to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Track progress, maintain detailed records, and report data as required by school policies
- Offer support to teachers and families to foster students’ communication skills within the classroom and beyond
