School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Cottondale, Florida

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working within a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role runs from August 10, 2026, to May 28, 2027, providing the chance to make a meaningful difference for students at both the elementary and high school levels. You’ll enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday schedule of 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, averaging 30 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current SLP-CCC certification
• Experience in a school setting preferred
• Ability to supervise and mentor Speech-Language Assistants
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Comfort managing a diverse, PreK-12th grade caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support three Speech-Language Assistants (SLAs)
• Provide direct and consultative speech services to students
• Maintain documentation and progress reports for a caseload of approximately 150 students ranging from PreK to 12th grade
• Address a variety of communication disorders and develop individualized student plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute expert insight on student needs
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team efforts for comprehensive student support
• Adapt interventions to meet the needs of a mixed caseload and school population
