Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working within a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role runs from August 10, 2026, to May 28, 2027, providing the chance to make a meaningful difference for students at both the elementary and high school levels. You’ll enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday schedule of 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, averaging 30 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Ability to supervise and mentor Speech-Language Assistants
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Comfort managing a diverse, PreK-12th grade caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support three Speech-Language Assistants (SLAs)
- Provide direct and consultative speech services to students
- Maintain documentation and progress reports for a caseload of approximately 150 students ranging from PreK to 12th grade
- Address a variety of communication disorders and develop individualized student plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expert insight on student needs
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary team efforts for comprehensive student support
- Adapt interventions to meet the needs of a mixed caseload and school population
