School Psychologist - Calhan, CO

Ideal Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong assessment and counseling skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
• Understanding of special education processes and legal guidelines
• Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to student success
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop effective intervention strategies
• Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ social-emotional health
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams, including IEP meetings
• Consult on behavioral interventions and accommodations
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in line with ethical and legal requirements
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and advocate for all students
