Key Qualifications:

  • Valid school psychologist certification for Minnesota (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience performing initial assessments and re-evaluations in K-12 settings
  • Strong knowledge of special education eligibility and compliance processes
  • Excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort adapting to both onsite and remote assessment environments
  • Strong time-management skills to meet assessment timelines

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive initial psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for students referred by the district
  • Perform re-evaluations as required for students currently receiving special services
  • Collaborate with IEP/504 teams, educators, and caregivers to interpret assessment data and guide support strategies
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in virtual meetings or travel to school sites as needed based on assignment and district requirements
