Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Spartanburg, SC
Job Description

As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work onsite with a diverse caseload across grade levels, fostering language and speech growth that helps students reach their full academic and social potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current South Carolina SLP license and Educator certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate comfortably with educators, families, and IEP teams
- Commitment to maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of no more than 60 students (often 55 or fewer)
- Conduct ongoing assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate documentation
- Deliver individual and group interventions using evidence-based practices
- Partner with teachers and parents to support student progress across learning settings
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Support students with a variety of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Remain onsite during contracted hours to provide consistent support
