Key Attributes We’re Seeking:

• Current Tennessee Special Education Teaching License (with TN endorsements: 459, 465, 468, 2000, 2001)
• PreK special education teaching experience preferred
• Candidates with the TN SPED endorsement may be eligible for PreK by completing the Praxis exam—cost covered for qualifying candidates
• Passionate about early childhood education and creating individualized supports
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Providing instruction and support for a PreK special education caseload through individualized lesson planning and evidence-based strategies
• Collaborating closely with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and student families to foster student growth
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and district guidelines
• Utilizing adaptive technology and multi-sensory approaches to engage diverse learners
• Contributing positively to a team-focused, inclusive school climate
