Make a real difference in students’ lives as an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. Three dedicated professionals are needed to provide exceptional instruction and support in a collaborative, on-site environment. Assignments are available at both the middle and elementary school levels, with full-time hours (37.5 per week, Monday–Friday).

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Georgia Special Education Teacher Certification (documentation is mandatory for consideration)
  • Previous experience in school-based special education, especially working with students on the autism spectrum, is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms, implement IEPs, and effectively collaborate with general education colleagues
  • Commitment to full-time, on-site work for the complete academic year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction and behavioral support to students diagnosed with autism
  • Create, adapt, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student
  • Foster a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages student growth and inclusion
  • Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to support each student’s academic and social success
  • Maintain accurate records, monitor student progress, and ensure compliance with all regulations and best practices in special education
  • Communicate clearly and regularly with parents, guardians, and school team members
