Step into a rewarding, contract-based opportunity serving middle and high school learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming first semester. This on-site role begins in August and continues through December, engaging students in both an 8th Grade Center and 9th Grade Center. Workdays follow a 6-day cycle, with start times between 7:30–8:00am and end times at 2:30–3:00pm, offering a consistent, full-time weekday schedule.

Your expertise will be crucial in delivering individualized and group speech services, fostering communication growth and academic progress for 8th and 9th graders. Manage a focused caseload of approximately 8–10 Speech Only IEP students, where your attention and guidance will contribute to positive, measurable outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist – CCC certification (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in a school setting, preferably working with middle or high school students
  • Ability to manage both individual and group speech sessions
  • Strong understanding of IEP case management, specifically for Speech Only students
  • Commitment to in-person work and a reliable, full-time presence
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language assessments and develop treatment plans for assigned students
  • Lead meaningful therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in group formats
  • Monitor student progress, adapt interventions as needed, and maintain detailed records
  • Serve as a key participant in IEP meetings, ensuring students’ speech needs are addressed comprehensively
