Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Holds or eligible for NYS SLP licensure with CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY status
  • Demonstrated pediatric experience, preferably within school or healthcare settings
  • Bilingual proficiency required, with the ability to conduct assessments in multiple languages
  • Experience with teletherapy and hybrid service delivery models a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to delivering culturally sensitive, effective assessments

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students, ensuring all assessments are relevant, accurate, and complete
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret results and provide clear recommendations
  • Prepare written evaluation reports in compliance with school standards and deadlines
  • Participate in virtual or onsite meetings as required
  • Maintain meticulous records and uphold confidentiality at all times
  • Adapt to evolving delivery models, with on-site preferred and possible hybrid/virtual transitions
