Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Holds or eligible for NYS SLP licensure with CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY status
- Demonstrated pediatric experience, preferably within school or healthcare settings
- Bilingual proficiency required, with the ability to conduct assessments in multiple languages
- Experience with teletherapy and hybrid service delivery models a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to delivering culturally sensitive, effective assessments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students, ensuring all assessments are relevant, accurate, and complete
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret results and provide clear recommendations
- Prepare written evaluation reports in compliance with school standards and deadlines
- Participate in virtual or onsite meetings as required
- Maintain meticulous records and uphold confidentiality at all times
- Adapt to evolving delivery models, with on-site preferred and possible hybrid/virtual transitions
