Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Brooksville, Florida

Step into a rewarding, contract-based role making a difference for elementary students as a speech-language professional. This full-time opportunity (40 hours per week) invites both credentialed SLPs—including CFYs—and SLPA professionals to provide essential services within two lively elementary schools. Caseload responsibilities are shared with fellow SLP and SLPA colleagues, ensuring collaborative support and manageable workloads.

This position is in-person only, beginning August 3, 2026, and running through the end of the school year on May 28, 2027. Students arrive for classes on August 10, offering time for orientation and preparation. You’ll work with pediatric populations in school settings, providing evidence-based speech and language interventions that transform young lives.

Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as an SLP or SLPA (CFY candidates encouraged to apply)
• Experience or interest in pediatric and school-based speech-language therapy
• Familiarity with caseload management and IEP documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to thrive in a team environment, splitting responsibilities for optimal student outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to elementary school-aged students in person
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate daily with a supportive SLP and SLPA team
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation in accordance with school policy
