Key requirements for this position include:
- Valid Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential authorizing services in Language, Speech, & Hearing, or a California credential to serve as a Language/Speech and Hearing Specialist
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience delivering speech therapy in K-12 school settings is highly valued
- Commitment to onsite service delivery; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering assessments, direct therapy, and progress monitoring for students requiring speech and language support
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintaining organized, compliant records and thorough documentation for all services provided
- Communicating clearly and compassionately with caregivers and staff to address student needs
- Participating in IEP meetings and progress reviews as required
