Key requirements for this position include:

  • Valid Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential authorizing services in Language, Speech, & Hearing, or a California credential to serve as a Language/Speech and Hearing Specialist
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience delivering speech therapy in K-12 school settings is highly valued
  • Commitment to onsite service delivery; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering assessments, direct therapy, and progress monitoring for students requiring speech and language support
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintaining organized, compliant records and thorough documentation for all services provided
  • Communicating clearly and compassionately with caregivers and staff to address student needs
  • Participating in IEP meetings and progress reviews as required
