An exciting contract opportunity is available for a licensed and credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, SLP-CCC) to work in a Pre-K setting for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a 0.8 FTE position covering a leave from August 19 through November 11. Flexible scheduling allows for 2-4 days of work per week, with hours from 8:10 AM to 3:20 PM. You will work mainly at one primary campus, but will also support Pre-K classrooms in an additional building. Collaboration is key—shared office space fosters open communication, and attendance at Tuesday meetings is required.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working in Pre-K or early childhood education settings
  • Ability to support students using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) preferred
  • Background in conducting speech-language evaluations
  • Familiarity with providing services to students in both self-contained and general education environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a continuum of speech-language services for approximately 35 students with identified needs
  • Serve students ranging from those requiring speech-only support to those in self-contained classrooms
  • Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations in collaboration with district SLP staff
  • Provide support across two building sites for Pre-K classrooms, with a focus on the primary location
  • Participate in required Tuesday meetings to collaborate on student progress and team objectives
