Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | De Ruyter, New York

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to students, beginning September 1st. This full-time assignment serves a single building, supporting a closely-knit school community near De Ruyter, NY. You will work primarily with elementary-aged children (K-4), while a few middle school students could enrich your caseload of 19—plus possible speech improvement services.

Use your expertise in both in-person and teletherapy settings to help students achieve their greatest communication potential. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced SLPs as well as those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility)
• Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations
• Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and techniques
• Ability to adapt and individualize therapeutic approaches for diverse learners
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• CFY candidates encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver evaluation and therapy for a diverse caseload, primarily K-4, with occasional middle schoolers
• Maintain documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Develop IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide speech improvement services as needed
• Communicate progress and strategies with teachers and families
• Integrate technology and teletherapy solutions as appropriate
