Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist. In this full-time position (37.5 hours per week), you’ll make a meaningful impact working onsite with K-12 learners. Serve a manageable caseload—never exceeding 60 students and often less—in a setting committed to each child’s growth and development.

Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
- South Carolina Educator Certificate required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience providing SLP services in K-12 schools strongly desired
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Ability to organize and manage a diverse student caseload efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students based on IEPs
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans
- Document progress, maintain compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
- Educate and support teachers and parents in understanding student needs
- Utilize creative therapy materials and methods tailored to each child's strengths
