Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Psychology is required
- Current and valid credentials to practice as a School Psychologist in Arizona
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (mandatory)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to assess, counsel, and support K-12 students with diverse needs
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing clear reports
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services to students and staff across multiple school sites
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students referred for potential academic, behavioral, or social-emotional concerns
- Develop recommendations and interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP and eligibility meetings
- Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and support as situations arise
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
