This onsite position offers valuable experience within both the LVN pool and the flexibility to provide one-on-one student support as needed across the regular school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California LVN license is required
  • Previous experience in a school setting, or similar pediatric care environment, is preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills to partner effectively with school counselors and educational staff
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality in all student matters
  • Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to shifting caseload demands
  • Comfort working within a team-based, onsite environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct care to students, including administering medications and monitoring chronic health conditions
  • Support daily health needs within the LVN pool, and assist with individualized healthcare plans for assigned students
  • Collaborate with school counselors and other school professionals to address students’ physical, emotional, and mental health needs
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and provide first aid as required
  • Document nursing services in accordance with school and legal protocols
  • Maintain a safe environment, ensuring all health practices align with district and state guidelines

As part of this role, you will work 32.5 hours weekly during the regular academic calendar, with the option to sign up for hours during ESY if desired.
