Step into an impactful, full-time contract opportunity supporting students across Washington County and Greene County as a School Speech-Language Pathologist. In this vital role, you’ll use your expertise to make a meaningful difference across several educational settings, collaborating with faculty and helping students overcome communication challenges.

The assignment begins with required onsite training sessions on August 13th, 14th, and 17th (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM), followed by a regular weekly schedule (Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM) as students return on August 20th. You’ll provide direct services in-person, rotating between Bethlehem-Center Elementary (half-day weekly), Fort Cherry Elementary (two days weekly), and a local Waynesburg campus (two days weekly). Applicants should be comfortable with all listed commutes.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist - CCC, with eligibility for PA SLP Educator Certificate
  • Experience working in school or pediatric settings
  • Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat school-aged children with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Flexibility and professionalism while traveling between sites
  • Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating and treating students in accordance with IEP goals and state/federal requirements
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective therapy strategies
  • Maintaining accurate, timely records and progress documentation
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary team planning
