Job Description
Empower students across all grade levels as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist serving a K-12 population in a supportive school environment. This onsite, full-time contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference each day, with a manageable caseload never exceeding 60 students (and often 55 or fewer). You'll join a collaborative and inclusive team focused on helping learners achieve communication milestones that will support their future success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active South Carolina SLP license and Educator certificate required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Confident in providing services to diverse K-12 student populations
- Strong interpersonal communication and record-keeping skills
- Comfort with onsite-only service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and create individualized intervention plans
- Deliver dynamic, evidence-based speech and language therapy to students in both individual and small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring alignment with student goals
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation to meet compliance standards
- Provide resources and recommendations to educators and parents for carryover strategies
