Pay Package: Up to $2,524/Week
Gross Weekly Pay: $2,524
Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,278
Non-Taxable Weekly Stipend: $1,246 (for eligible travelers)

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, Illinois. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with recent CCU/Critical Care experience who are comfortable caring for high-acuity patients in a busy hospital setting.

Shift: Nights (12-Hour Shifts)
36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Every Other Weekend Required
Every Other Holiday Required
Start Date: ASAP

Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/CCU.
Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor complex medical conditions.
Administer critical care medications, IV therapies, and vasoactive drips.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and other life-support equipment.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
Accurately document patient care according to hospital standards.
Float to other appropriate units as needed.
Requirements
Active Illinois RN License.
Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care/CCU experience (CCU experience must be clearly documented on the resume).
Experience working in a mid- to large-size hospital is required.
Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
Current AHA BLS certification.
Current AHA ACLS certification.
Ability to commit to the full 13-week assignment.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
