Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a fast-paced accounting team supporting high-volume invoice processing. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a deadline-driven environment and has strong experience with invoice processing, GL coding, and researching invoice discrepancies.

Responsibilities
  • Process high-volume, non-PO vendor invoices
  • Perform GL coding and route invoices for approval
  • Review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
  • Process invoices accurately and within established deadlines
  • Maintain electronic invoice documentation and indexing
  • Partner with internal departments to resolve accounts payable questions
  • Assist with additional AP projects as needed
Qualifications

Required:
  • 2+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience
  • Experience processing non-PO invoices
  • Strong GL coding experience
  • AP research and invoice discrepancy resolution experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
  • Experience with Coupa or JD Edwards (JDE)
  • Experience with electronic invoice indexing or document management systems
Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
