LHH is partnering with a privately held technology company to find an experienced Senior Accountantin Frisco, TX. This position offers a competitive salary of $85-95K, an excellent benefits package, and a hybrid work schedule after training, 3 days in office and 2 work from home.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end close activities for multiple entities within assigned deadlines, including preparation of financial statements for assigned companies.
- Ensure completion of the month-end closing package for each 12 subsidiaries.
- Prepare, compile, and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
- Complete bank reconciliations and Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely identification and resolution of discrepancies.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and intercompany allocations.
- Analyze period-end financial data and provide clear explanations for variances to budget and prior periods.
- Support accounts receivable management for assigned entities, including monitoring balances, reducing overdue accounts to under 60 days, and following up with customers on past due invoices.
- Prepare documentation and schedules to support internal and external audits, ensuring all audit requests are completed within required deadlines.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support ad hoc accounting projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
- 2+ years of experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries and financial statement preparation is required
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for accounting and financial purposes
- Experience with Month End Close procedures
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with major ERP
