Location: La Quinta, CA
Job Type: Part-Time (3 Days per Week)
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday (8-hour shifts)
Setting: Outpatient Pediatric Clinic
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Pediatric Physical Therapist
The ideal candidate is committed to delivering evidence-based, family-centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to help pediatric patients achieve their highest level of independence and functional potential.
Important Note:
The therapist should be capable of managing a caseload of 14-15 patients during an 8-hour shift while maintaining high-quality patient care and timely documentation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
Provide evidence-based interventions to improve gross motor skills, strength, balance, coordination, gait, and functional mobility.
Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs, positioning, and strategies to support developmental progress.
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate high-quality patient care.
Qualifications & Experience:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
Current and unrestricted California Physical Therapist license.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
1-2 years of experience working with pediatric population
Experience treating pediatric patients in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting.
Experience working with children with developmental delays, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, or genetic syndromes.
New graduates are also accepted
