Job Description
Take your expertise as a School Psychologist to an engaging elementary setting on a part-time contract basis. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact three days per week, supporting young learners and collaborating with a passionate educational team near Elgin, IL.
In this rewarding position, you’ll work with a dedicated caseload of elementary students, performing essential evaluations, conducting classroom and individual observations, and assisting in the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) process. Your insight will be valued during meetings and consultations, creating tailored strategies that help every child thrive.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Active Illinois School Psychologist certification
- Experience performing evaluations and observations in school settings
- Familiarity with MTSS and response-to-intervention processes
- Strong teamwork, communication, and consultation skills
- Ability to participate effectively in student support meetings
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing thorough psychological evaluations for students
- Implementing and monitoring intervention strategies aligned with MTSS
- Collecting and analyzing student data
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
- Attending and contributing to IEP and student support meetings
For your valuable contribution, compensation ranges from $53/hr to $58/hr.
