Job Description
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming academic year. In this in-person, contract role, you’ll work closely with a diverse student population, making a direct impact in their communication development and academic success. This position is ideal for both Clinical Fellows (CFs) and those with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), offering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure as an SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to in-person services throughout the full school year
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, social communication, and cognitive-communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Collect and maintain appropriate documentation on student progress and compliance requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences
- Provide consultation and support to classroom staff to facilitate student success
- Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment for all students
