School Occupational Therapist - Moreno Valley, California

Ideal applicants will bring robust California schools experience, an active state license, and a solid background in administering assessments, such as the BOT-3 and Peabody, to students ages 3–22 with multiple disabilities. Success in this setting requires self-direction: you'll manage your schedule, respond promptly to changing caseloads, and work independently in the field with minimal direct district support.

Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license for the state of California
• Demonstrated experience in California schools, preferably spanning kindergarten through high school
• Proficiency with the BOT-3 and Peabody assessments for a broad range of student ages and needs
• Confidence in utilizing assessment data to address parent questions and craft thorough service recommendations
• Strong organizational skills to independently manage shifting caseloads and schedules
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy, consultations, and assess students across varying disability levels
• Offer insight and guidance to families, leveraging assessment data to inform service delivery
• Adjust to evolving caseloads as student needs emerge
• Maintain documentation and communication as required by district policies
