Special Education Teacher in Glendale, AZ

The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in developing and implementing individualized special education services in compliance with federal, state, and district standards. Familiarity with the Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) or willingness to participate in staff development is essential for this opportunity.

Qualifications:

• Holds a Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License.
• Possesses a current K-12 Special Education Certificate.
• Has an active IVP Fingerprint Card.
• Proven experience with students with emotional disabilities or similar eligibility areas.
• Demonstrates awareness of a range of student needs, including those from traditionally underserved populations.
• Skilled in planning, creating, and maintaining special services documentation and activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic school setting.
• Previous E.E.E.I. training or openness to complete required staff development.
