For the 2026–2027 school year, we are seeking four compassionate and skilled paraprofessionals to join a supportive team within a Multiple Disabilities Support (MDS) Level B classroom. Located in a well-established achievement program, this contract role directly assists students with significant needs, fostering growth and learning in an inclusive environment.

What You'll Need:

• At least one year of experience as a paraprofessional, instructional assistant, or similar role, especially in special education settings
• Meet one Pennsylvania paraprofessional qualification by start date (48 college credits, Associate degree or higher, or qualifying assessment—certification can be obtained within 60 days if needed)
• Comfortable providing personal care (toileting, diapering, hygiene), mobility and feeding assistance
• Ability to support students’ communication, manage daily classroom routines, and assist with behavioral and sensory needs
• Patient, calm, and steady in the face of challenging behaviors
• Full-time availability (approx. 32.5–35 hours/week; standard school hours)
• Reliable commute within 35 minutes, and consistent, on-time attendance

Your Role:

• Implement individualized support for students, helping with classroom and personal care routines
• Address student behaviors such as hitting, spitting, biting, or elopement attempts, using positive redirection strategies
• Collaborate closely with teachers and clinical staff to maintain classroom safety and a structured learning environment
